This masterclass offers a unique opportunity for pianists preparing for competitions, auditions, or concert appearances to refine their musical and technical abilities in a highly focused environment. Each participant will receive instruction from all three instructors – Fedele Antonicelli, Fernando Viani, and Swen Fischer – ensuring exposure to a broad range of artistic viewpoints and teaching styles.
Two of the three hours will be taught in a tandem format, with two teachers working together to offer complementary insights during the same session. Participants who choose Full Participation will receive an additional individual lesson with one of the instructors, allowing for more personalized guidance and in-depth musical development.
Full Participation is intended for advanced students.
Very young students or those preparing simpler repertoire are kindly asked to choose Light Participation.

Fedele Antonicelli
Fedele Antonicelli, born in 1973, studied piano in Bari with Giovanna Valente and in Saarbrücken with Thomas Duis, graduating with distinction. He furthered his training in masterclasses with renowned artists such as Benedetto Lupo, Menahem Pressler, and Aldo Ciccolini. A multiple prizewinner at national and international competitions—including the Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli and Walter Gieseking Competitions—he received the Münchner Kammerorchester Special Prize at the 2002 ARD Music Competition.
As a soloist, Antonicelli has performed across Europe, North America, and Asia with orchestras such as the Bari Symphony, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, and the Russian State Symphony Orchestra. His interpretations have been broadcast by RAI, BR, NHK, and others. He currently teaches collaborative piano at the University of Music Saar and has been dedicated to mentoring young pianists in the Ulm–Aalen region, many of whom have won top prizes at major competitions.
Swen Fischer
Fernando Viani
Fernando Viani is a versatile pianist with a broad repertoire spanning classical solo and chamber music, with a special commitment to the music of his native Argentina. His mature and expressive interpretations—marked by clarity, virtuosity, and emotional depth—have touched audiences across the globe.
He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional Argentina, Philharmonie Baden-Baden, and various South American symphonies. He has collaborated with renowned artists including Ingeborg Danz, Laurent Breuninger, Peter Eötvös, Sontraud Speidel, and Guillermo Anzorena.
Since 2012, Viani has taught piano at the Bern Conservatory and regularly gives masterclasses throughout Europe and the Americas. His students have won more than 200 prizes at national and international competitions and many now perform professionally.
The participation includes:
